I have a Canon A590 IS. Be SLR is always the best solution, but can not afford. What is the best way to optimize my camera to take great pictures?

Studio to show photos of other peoples air. Do not take photos from far away - fill the frame. Planes in the air may be too far from the camera - a good reason for a DSLR and the target length. You can go a lot of fun at the static display and selection of unusual perspectives, eg from the ground up to the wings and nose. See if you can great pictures of close-ups of the engine inlets or markings. If you want the plane moves go, setting a high ISO sensitivity and full explanations to use a trail of smoke.
