Europe Train Route Map What's A Good Resource To Find Out About Train Routes In Europe?

What's a good resource to find out about train routes in Europe? - europe train route map

For example, if you want to travel to Portugal for Montenegro, how can I know if this was possible, even if so, how much it would cost and how long it would take and how many transfers have to bear?

Not a single page, but many were used for this purpose.

has good information http://www.seat61.com basic international flights currently. I found the information networks in the countries will be invaluable. The site links also http://www.railfaneurope.net national rail sites, which are their second source of information.

http://www.bahn.de is the German rail site, and has the best search engine. Particularly suitable for long distance.

I also like the map on the website of Rick Steves':
http://www.ricksteves.com/rail/compareti ...
Note: All prices are calculated at $ 1.20 for 1 euro. Rick Steves has some basic country-by-country Rail Info.

In a few rail lines used in Europe can http://www.jizdenka.cz to learn about the ticket prices.
